Photo Collage Master is photo collage software that you’re going to have a hard time believing still exists. This photo collage software is considerably limited in every possible way. The interesting thing is that it’s somewhat difficult to use, even though it doesn’t have more than a handful of features. One perplexing drawback we found when using this photo collage software is that you can only put one image into each collage. It doesn’t matter if the template has slots for multiple images; you can only use one image. When you go to adjust the image, you can only move it up and down, but never side to side, except for in some special circumstances. They give you four image editing options, three of which are filters (Gray Photo, Old Photo and Sketch Photo).
When it comes to features, this photo collage software doesn’t really have any. They do have several impressive collage templates, but that’s about it. The templates are useless because you can do very little with them. It would be one thing if you could customize every element of these templates, but that privilege isn’t afforded to you in this program. Instead, you’re given a very static template that supports just one image. You can’t move or adjust anything in the template you choose. You need to make sure you choose an image that would look practical in multiple picture frames. The best choice would be a picture that has several people in it, but even that wouldn’t work because of this program’s limitations.
With this program, you can save your image in JPG or BMP format. The program doesn’t give you any options for external sources you can export your image to. These two file formats are the most commonly used, but not everyone uses them. You could upload your collage to the internet after saving it, but that would add one step to the process. The program could try to make your life easier and have those features built-in.
Nothing in this program works like it should. The various rigid requirements for how collages are made in this program made putting one together surprisingly difficult. If it were possible, this program needs to be simplified even further.
The manufacturer behind this program only provides a contact form. There are no other contact methods or help documentation present on the website for the product. Since there’s not much too this program, we could give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt; however, it would’ve been great to have documentation on hand that explained the program’s numerous quirks.
If you want a program that has a lot of features and can make good collages, Photo Collage Master is not the program for you. This program isn’t going to do anything more than produce below average collages, even if you can get it to do what you want it to do. If you want a program that’s going to give you better results, you’re going to have to look elsewhere in this category.
